Here you will find an almost daily dose of motherhood, creativity, inspiration, and random jabberish. I am a 30 year old SAHM and when time allows, I love to write about things that inspire me in life.
I attended college at Colorado State University were I met my quirky husband, Jordan. It was obvious that we would marry each other from the moment we met and I knew Jordan would make a fun loving daddy too. Oh yea…and I completed my BFA with a concentration in graphic design. Although, my family is my #1 priority in life, designing still plays a role. I freelance when I have time (or let’s be honest…when we need the extra $$) and am currently looking into expanding my knowledge in web design/development.
We welcomed our first baby boy (Brewer) into our lives in March 2010 and our second baby boy (Mason) in March 2012. That’s right…they are exactly 2 years and 4 days apart. (Just can’t plain these things out sometimes.) I thought the advertising industry was fast paced, but Brewer and Mason have truly taught me the definition of thinking on my feet. Not to mention how to complete any task one handed with a 20 lb. weight on my opposite hip. I love all the challenges that come with inhabiting mommyhood and I’m always on the hunt for products and services that make my life easier.
I discovered through blogging how therapeutic writing can be….and also how much I’m obsessed with food. So, you’ll probably see a lot of food related topics and recipes on here too. When I find a new recipe and my family loves it…I want to share. When Brewer and Mason do something silly and cute (which is ALL the time)…I want to share. Basically, I want to share my life and inspirations with anyone who wants to read about them.
